Awesome design and organization. Tons of free bonus software. Very weak information and content. Too many broken links, and inability to update only devalues the software with time.



Website, Purchase, Download, and Install

• Website: Very easy to read and follow. Relevant text boxes were easily identifiable and a purchase button was easy to locate. Nice graphics and overall look and feel.
  
  
• Purchase: Clickbank is extremely easy to order from, they don't ask you a lot of useless questions in their forms and you can rely on their 90-day money back guarantee. ClickBank handles the sale and distribution of the software, which means your personal information is secure.
  
  
• Download: After ordering through Clickbank I was taken to a special download page that let me download the Net-Vestigator program, plus all of the free bonus software. The main program is 4.25 megs, I didn't review the bonus software, but it includes: Cyber Investigator, Backup Devil, XCleaner, a credit report page, and a spyware cleaner.
  
  
• Install: Install was quick and painless, just ran the installer and it set itself up, made a link on my Desktop and in my Start Menu so I could open it.
  
  

Functionality

• Layout: Very slick looking interface, very intuitive and user-friendly. Tabbed browsing organizes the information extremely well, there were no questions as to how to find what I was looking for. Excellent presentation.
  
  
• Information: Net-Vestigator demonstrates the limitations of software based programs. The date says 2002, which means that there are a couple of bad links to databases (very few though), but it also means that there aren't any new additions since then.
  
  Besides that, there just isn't that much useful information in the program, no how-to guides, no exclusive or special databases... it has the popular basics though: people search, government records, spy information.
  
  
• Free vs Fee: Tons of free software comes with Net-Vestigator, which helps to swallow the fact that most of the databases and searches provided in the program are fee-based State and Government lookups.
