Summary

Extremely large amount of quality information available, more than any software reviewed yet. I give them alot of respect for actually listening to, and responding to their customers as evidenced by the changes they have made since they started. Would be Editor's Choice if navigation on their Members Only page was easier.



Website, Purchase, Download, and Install

• Website: Maybe they read my previous (negative) review, because Web Detective has recently redesigned their website. Their new design is very clean and clear, with an easily viewable purchase button and plenty of information about the software itself. A major improvement, fixing every complaint I previously had with their website.
  
  
• Purchase: Clickbank is extremely easy to order from, they don't ask you a lot of useless questions in their forms and you can rely on their 90-day money back guarantee. ClickBank handles the sale and distribution of the software, which means your personal information is secure.
  
  
• Download/Install: None necessary, Web Detective is an online resource that doesn't require a download or install, just visit the Members Only Page. I was immediately taken to the resource after paying through Clickbank, remember to bookmark the members only link though!
  
  

Functionality

• Layout: Once again the Web Detective guys have taken advice from us customers, they have improved their content area a great deal since I first purchased the product. They now offer helpful advice for finding links in their massive directory. It still isn't as easy to use as Net Detective, but it's much better than before.
  
  
• Information: Web Detective has more information in it than I have seen in any other software. Lots of great databases including: phone numbers, email addresses, criminal records, State DMV records, PO Box owners physical addresses... just to name a few. I can't imagine how much research and time must have gone into developing such a comprehensive resource.
  
  
• Free vs Fee: Web Detective has many free databases and resources. These really great free databases outweigh the inescapable fee-based services by far, plus, Web Detective has written detailed "how-to" guides for most of the services, making the fee based services much more palatable.
